Cheryl was born in Montreal, raised in Halifax, and moved to Ontario for University. Ultimately she found her home in Ottawa where she obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from Carleton University.

She spent the first 10 years of her career in the field of Child Protection, branching out to work in schools and a local hospital. She spent the past 12 years in private practice, providing counselling to children, youth and adults.

Cheryl has always had an interest in spirituality, blossoming when she moved to Ontario, obtaining Master Level Reiki. She activated much more intensively years later after encountering a significant wall of burnout which was a turning point. She realized how she wanted to live her life and provide service to others.

In her “spare time” Cheryl is also working on a Fantasy novel-turned-trilogy, and creating courses to teach to people looking for more personal, spiritual and creative development. She resides in Ottawa with her teenage son, and 2 very opinionated cats.
